Diet Guidelines

Below is the diet guidelines for our Meditation Ceremony. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. The diet is made to help you work best in tune with the meditation.
 
Please abstain from the following foods and activities two weeks prior to retreat:
  • Pork and Red meat
  • Sexual activities of any kind, including masturbation
  • Alcohol
  • Marijuana
  • All street drugs (cocaine, MDMA, amphetamines, etc.)
  • Dairy products
  • Fried foods
  • Ice, ice cream, or ice cold drinks
  • Prescription and over the counter medication(if taking any please let me know prior some medications are unsafe to work with the medicine)

Please abstain from the following foods in addition to those above one week prior to retreat:

  • Refined sugars
  • Spicy foods
  • Junk food of any kind
  • Salt and pepper (if you must use salt, use it very sparingly)
  • Oils (if you must use oil, use olive or coconut oil very sparingly)
  • Animal fats (lard, etc.)
  • Carbonated and fermented drinks (including diet sodas, energy drinks, non-alcoholic beer and Kombucha)
  • Fermented foods (kimchi, sauerkraut, vinegar, kefir, pickles, yogurt)
  • Caffeine & other stimulants

48 Hours Prior:

Avoid the following:

St. Johns Wort 
Betel
Boswellia
Ephedra
Fennel seed
Fo-Ti
Ginseng
Horny Goat Weed
Kanna
Kava
Kratom
Licorice Root
Nutmeg
Parsley seed
Rhodiola Rosea
Scotch Broom
Yerba Mate
Yohimbe

The Day of:

The Day of Ceremony you will want to eat a light breakfast and super light lunch. No eating passed 2 pm. If you are comfortable with fasting you can fast which can help or do a juice only fast. This will keep your vessel very clean and you will not be digesting heavy foods going into ceremony which can be unconformable. Fruits and veggies are highly recommended.

HYDRATE- This should start at the very latest the day before.
